The Gloop Vase was handmade using an ancient coiling technique, wrapped up and around to create its unique shape. Balanced on a small base with a tall silhouette, the vase was inspired by amphoras from the past – designed to be wedged inside the ground.

Bridlington Vase [Ready to Ship]

Part of my collection of summer-inspired vases, the Bridlington vase was inspired by piled rocks at the seashore. Hand sculpted from stoneware clay, each ‘stone’ layer is applied at a slightly different angle to create a curved silhouette. Finished with a light-white glaze, the toasted stoneware clay used shows underneath. The rim of the vase is left unglazed for a contrast of texture.
This vase took around eight hours to sculpt and finish before it was glazed. It is completely one of a kind.
