A hag stone is a pebble with a hole in the middle, thought by some to possess protective properties. Handcrafted from speckled clay, this vase was pinched and coiled into being. It was finished with a white tin glaze on the inside, leaving the trails of the process across the exterior as a contrast to the raw clay.
The Hagstone Vase is a complete one of a kind. Handmade in Liverpool, and crafted with love.
A handmade plant pot or vase perfect for showing off your favorite flora. Handmade using a slab building technique with a speckled buff clay, and glazed tin white inside, and sage green outside.

Part of my collection of summer-inspired vases, the Bridlington vase was inspired by piled rocks at the seashore. Hand sculpted from stoneware clay, each ‘stone’ layer is applied at a slightly different angle to create a curved silhouette. Finished with a light-white glaze, the toasted stoneware clay used shows underneath. The rim of the vase is left unglazed for a contrast of texture.
This vase took around eight hours to sculpt and finish before it was glazed. It is completely one of a kind.
